![]() I hope our customer has many issues so that I can make the trip back again soon.I booked this hotel based on the favorable reviews on this site, having never stayed at a Drury Inn before, and wasn't disappointed. It is not a gourmet dinner, but grilled chicken, baked potatoes, salad, nacos, hotdogs and 3 complimentary "adult beverages" This place cannot be beat. During this time, they put out various dinner items. At night they have complimentary popcorn and soda but the best thing is their "kick back" from 5:30pm until 7:00pm. Drury Inns have an ample breakfast with many choices including yogurt, bananas, apples, cereals, toast, waffles, and an assortment of hot items like eggs and sausage. Their internet works well and there is a good selection of channels on the tv to watch. I had some of the best sleeps I have had in quite a while. My room was very quiet for the week, right up until my last night and there were some screaming kids running around, but that happens on weekends. The check in process went without a problem. First of all, the staff is some of the most friendly, inviting people you could ask for. I have not stayed in a Drury up until this point but went with a recommendation from another person that was doing work in the area. A great example of that mid-west hospitality at the Drury! We will continue to stay at this location when we visit KC, MO.Īfter many years on the road, I would have to say that I now have a new favourite place to stay. Our taxi was a black Cadillac SUV with a very entertaining driver for our five minute drive from the Abuello's restaurant to the Drury Inn. She gave us the name and number of a taxi company the hotel uses for times when the shuttle does not run. As our flight into KC was delayed by several hours, our shuttle driver drove us to the Zona Rosa area about a mile and a half from the hotel so we could still catch a late dinner before 10 pm. The mattress was still spongy and the walls could some more sound proofing. The rooms had been all updated with plenty of ports/outlets for cell phones and laptops. The lobby and breakfast area had a complete and stylish make over. Since our last visit in December, it did receive a very nice re-do. ![]() The Drury Inn near the Kansas City International airport has needed a refreshening for a few years now. ![]()
